My Situation
I have been Fighting the VA for 5 years for my 70% Bi-Lateral hearing loss. (I have Tinnitus as well).
I have now been denied twice. They say that a 70% loss is not a disability, and if it was it was not due to my jet aircraft mechanic job in the US Air Force during the Viet Nam Era.
Reason for needing Help
My hearing loss causes major issues when trying to associate with the public. It causes me to tend to seperate from society because of the stress involved with repeatedly asking folks to repeat themselves. This also causes major issues with working. I do want to work and be productive, support my wife, and need the activity to eliminate the stress of this situation.
Costs
Hearing Aids cost $3545.00 that I do not have.
My wife and I tried to get the financing for these, but we were denied that as well. Since I Have no vehicle to get a local job and there are no Jobs within walking distance, I am stuck with no real way to solve this dilema.
