Mark's stroke Journey
Donation protected
A year and a half ago Mark suffered a massive stroke which left him paralyzed on the left side, and unable eat without a feeding tube.
He has difficulty putting sentences together to communicate his needs. The hardest part is he has lost his beautiful singing voice and the ability to play his guitar.
Mark has been an active and heroic participant in his therapies to regain his life. As he has been working towards recovery we have been looking for other treatments that many stroke victims have benefited from
We have become aware of a treatment that has helped others in Mark's condition that may help to change his life significantly for the better.
We researched this treatment and successfully made it through two screenings and found he was a candidate. His treatment begins September of this year.
This isn't covered by insurance and requires him to fly to Florida.
This money would go to help us pay for the treatment as well as getting there.
We are committed to finding meaningful help for Mark to make progress. This treatment has given us a lot of hope for Mark's stroke recovery and reconnecting him with his mission of youth ministry/education.
Thank you so much for your donations and prayers.
