Mark Rodio Medical Fund

On November 23rd, 2016, -itis' singer, Mark Rodio (a.k.a. "Polo"), went to the emergency room due to an acute case of diverticulitis which perforated his colon in three different places. Shortly after, his intestines ruptured and his colon burst. He went into septic shock, was rushed into emergency surgery, and came very close to dying. We are so grateful to the incredible surgeon and team at Penrose/St. Francis Hospital in Colorado Springs for keeping him here with us. A secondary surgery was then performed on February 21st, 2017 to piece everything back together. During this 5 month ordeal, Mark lost 35 pounds and has been unable to work. About a year prior to that, he had blown out his knee badly (torn ACL, meniscus hanging by a thread, and lost 50% of the cartilage), again making it tough to work. He is recovering well from his last surgery, but there is a long road ahead.
