Hello, my name is Mark Frazier and in need of living kidney donor and funds to cover medical expenses. I have an inherited kidney disease called polycystic kidneys that I received from my mother. I am in end stage kidney failure and in need of a kidney transplant. The doctors at OSU say that I must find a living kidney donor to keep me from having to go on dialysis. My friends and I are trying to get my message out to as many people as possible. It is only going to take one person that is a match to become my hero.
I am 54 years old and got my Music Education degree from Otterbein University in 1986. In the fall of 1986 I started my teaching career as middle school and high school band director at Hamilton Local Schools. In 2017 after 31 years, I retired. During my time at Hamilton, I taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade band, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Pep Band, High School Concert Band, High School Wind Ensemble, Marching Band, Color Guard and the yearly musical. I am a former high school teacher of the year and Member of the Athletic Hall of Fame. In my retirement I still work at Hamilton producing the yearly musical and overseeing Logan Elm’s High School Color Guard. I enjoy spending my free time with my dogs, friends and family, traveling and working in my garden.
We are raising fund to cover the large amount of medical expenses not covered by insurance and to cover any out of pocket expenses like loss wages, travel and medical needs the donor may incur.
