Mark Day Fundraiser

Hello everyone, this is the second "Go Fund Me" campaign for Mark Day who in February this year was diagnosed with cancer and is currently receiving treatments in Mexico. The first campaign was a huge success, we exceeded our goal of 20,000.00 thanks to all of your generous donations.The money raised was used for Mark's cancer treatments, a much needed pace maker, ambulance rides, unplanned specialist appointments, none of which are covered by any insurance. The pace maker was an unexpected cost of 10 grand US, he was told by his cardiologist that without it he wouldn't be strong enough to fight the cancer. Mark has been making great progress to date, the cancer treatments have been working well and his heart is working properly. Unfortunately he just found out today that another surgery in Mexico is required to remove some tumors before he can complete his treatment and come back home to Alberta, this is unexpected as well of course and has hit Mark really hard as he thought the worst was over. The surgery is scheduled to take place this week and will go ahead as soon as we can get the money together. Mark needs some more financial support to help cover these additional costs including the remaining Chemo treatments and his extended stay in Mexico. I know many of you have already donated to the first campaign and Mark and Rose are extremely grateful for your support. We need to finish this thing off, if you can help out or know of someone who can, please spread the word, it would be greatly appreciated.
