Marion's Fight With Breast Cancer

There is no easy way to say this, so we will be direct. During a routine checkup a few weeks ago, Marion’s doctor found a suspicious lump in her breast tissue. She was told to have a biopsy done to confirm what kind of growth it was, and the results came back positive for cancer. As you can imagine, this news brought fears and anxieties to our wonderful Mare and her family. 

She is now working with a wonderful team of doctors and has a surgery planned for the 24th of May.

Marion is healthy and strong person. The prognosis is good but we will need to wait until after the surgery to know how treatment will progress and what her needs will be.

We all know that, when facing a medical problem, the biggest concern should be health and recovery. Unfortunately, in this and many other cases it is the stress of paying for treatments and health care that tends to overwhelm families. Marion's insurance is only able to cover small portion of the estimated costs, leaving her and her family responsible for a majority of the costs involved.
