Helping Family After Mothers Passing

Donation protected

Marilyn McFall was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, on May 7th 1972. She was the youngest of four with three older brothers - two of which the family lost to unforeseen circumstances. Marilyn and her youngest brother, Ron McFall, are the remaining children of William and Marie McFall. Marilyn also leaves behind 2 sisters from her father's second marriage,Charlotte and Marryanne McFall. Marylin went on to graduate from Walter Murray High School in Saskatoon. After working for a few years, Marilyn decided to pursue her class 1A licence and started driving. In January of 1996, Marilyn gave birth to her first son, Sheldon Ray McFall-Klotz, who later passed away in hospital due to being extremely premature. In February of 1997, Marilyn gave birth to her second son, Catlin Austin McFall-Klotz, who is now 19 years old and taking on the world, trying to make his mother proud. In 1999, Marilyn gave birth to her final child, Alicia Rose McFall-Klotz, who is finishing up high school. As of 2003 Marilyn has been unable to work and provide for her children due to a work place injury which she is still suffering from - 6 surgeries later. Marilyn spent her time doing what she could for her children, which at times was only being able to volunteer her time and help out with the activities they were able to take part in. Marilyn spent the last 5+ years volunteering with 702 Lynx Royal Canadian Air Cadets in Saskatoon and has recieved a volunteer recognition certificate for all that she has done. In August 2016, Marilyn was diagnosed with kidney cancer. In September, Marilyn was suppose to go in for surgery to remove her kidney but the team was unable to remove it due to it being one of the most vicious forms of cancer, Clear Cell Carsenoma, which has spread to her liver, lungs, and bowels. The tumor on her kidney was last known to be the size of a small football, which has been causing Marilyn issues so the doctors had to do a second surgery to install a stoma. Marilyn has been in the hospital since her surgery in September. She was released for just under a week, however she had to be readmitted, and is now in Paliative care at St. Pauls Hospital. The doctors don't know how much longer we will have with her, they won't give us a time frame, so we have to take it one day at a time. I am putting this Gofundme together for my amazing friend Marilyn, her children, and the family to raise some money to help them out with any cost that may result from this terrible situation. I personally appreciate anything and everything that anyone can offer to help. My main concern is making sure her kids are looked after through this rough time. I know how some people don't like Gofundme so if you are interested in making a donation outside of the site please feel free to contact me. Maelene Turner [phone redacted]
