Maria's treatment fund

Maria do Rosario Gomes is 51-year-old single mother of 4 children: Victor, 31, John (myself), 28, Jordan, 14, and Isabella, 11. Just a months ago, my mother had discovered irregularity and sharp pain in her left breast to where she followed up with her doctor. After seeing many other doctors and getting second/third opinions about her blood word, biopsies, and full body scans, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast and Bone Cancer. Today, I am asking for your help to reach our TOTAL GOAL of $50,000 so my beautiful mother can fight this cancer. We need to raise $11,000 to START the treatment with Dr. Magaziner and he has already urged her to not wait a day longer for this is urgent and it will continue to spread and attack her immune system. The proceeds will help my mother pay her medical bills that continue to pile up, IVs, oxygen treatments, holistic supplements, detox, upcoming doctor’s appointments, numerous blood work evaluations, medications, and so many other expensive treatments she needs to live.
Prior to her diagnosis, Maria had made a career change to where she was on unemployment and dipping into her savings. To make matters worse, her health insurance cut her off after bone scans revealed cancer. Maria has been a mentor, a volunteer, a kind stranger, a warm hug, and selfless soul. My mother is the kind of woman that will pull over on the side of the road when someone looks lost to give them directions, even if she doesn’t know where it is. Please help us raise money so my mother can continue to love and mentor my younger siblings, Jordan and Isabella (especially Bella, every daughter needs her mother).
