The Marianas Outrigger Club (MOC) humbly requests your support to aid our preparation for the 2018 outrigger season. The season includes MOC's participation in the 2018 Micronesian Games, the 2018 Micronesian Cup, as well as other outrigger events. 

The Micronesian Games will be held in Yap this July, and nine of the ten member CNMI National Outrigger Team are from MOC. MOC also plans to enter the Micronesian Cup, which features international competition. These events are special as they promote unity among our Pacific Islands through sport, showcasing top athletes in the region with MOC leading the field.

MOC was formed in 2014 for the purpose of developing, perpetuating and promoting the sport of outrigger canoe racing in the CNMI. Since then, MOC has participated in numerous competitions, excelling all of them. Our most notable achievements include our outstanding performances in the past two Micronesian Cups, which features the best paddlers in the region as well as international participation. Except for one 2nd place finish, MOC has dominated the field with first-place triumphs in every event of the men’s competition over the past two years. Our hard work and effort have earned us the commendation of our Governor, Ralph Deleon Guerrero Torres and the recognition of our Congressman, Gregorio Kililli Sablan. We also received a Legislative Resolution for our success and were awarded the Northern Marianas Sports Association’s Team of the Year Award. We are humbled by the recognition, and we continue to work hard with the goal of bringing more success to the Marianas.

The CNMI has been placed on the regional map as one of the leaders in the sport of outrigger canoeing following our successes, and nothing brings us more motivation and pride than to positively represent the CNMI and emerge victoriously. With your assistance, we can, without a doubt, continue our success.
