Please Help MARIA GET to BADA This Summer!!

Hi everyone! I am Maria Katre and I am starting this GoFundMe to help raise funds so that I can attend the “Midsummer in Oxford” acting program offered by the British American Drama Academy! It is a four-week conservatory intensive designed to help actors hone in on their craft. This school has been attended by several notable actors including Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther, 42), Simone Missick (Luke Cage), Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Caribbean, Lord of the Rings), Aja Naomi King (How to Get Away with Murder) and several others.
At the end of 2018, I set a goal for the things I wanted to accomplish in 2019 which included auditioning for BADA. I researched the audition dates and saw that they would be coming to the University of Southern California campus in early March. As part of the audition process, participants were required to prepare two monologues – one Shakespearean and one Contemporary. This evening (May 13th), I received an invitation to attend the program this summer! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I would love to be able to attend.
In order to accomplish my goal of attending BADA for the summer, I will need to raise at least $8000. This will cover the cost of tuition ($3,960), accommodations ($2,990) and airfare to London. Please consider donating to my cause. Any donation of any amount is greatly appreciated and will help put me one step closer to my goal.

This has been of dream and goal of mine for several years ago. I've always wanted to go but didn't think it would actually happen.
While I've been blessed to have had a successful commercial acting career, I really want to do more TV/FILM and feel as though this will be a HUGE for my career and training; I HAVE NO DOUBT!
