We lost our Maria tragically way too soon in May to her battle against breast cancer. She is survived by her two beautiful daughters Francessca, 14 and Natalia, 4.
We all thought that she would still be here with us now. She believed she would still be with us and that she would be here for them because she was an eternal optimist. She was smart. She went to Smith College where she got her undergraduate degree and became a proud lifelong member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Incorporated. She got a Master’s Degree from Brandeis in theater. She was tough and she had an amazing spirit. She danced, she acted, she taught. She was a beautiful giving person who would do anything for her friends and family and anyone else she could help. She had a positive impact on everyone she met because of who she was. She loved her friends and family. She loved life and she loved her daughters with all her heart and soul.
We have organized this fund to support Francessca and Natalia’s College educations to help ensure that they have the ability to follow in their Mother’s footsteps and to help put them in position to be able to live their best lives.
Maria’s Father, Maurice and her brother Jonathan will administer the fund and divide all of the funds received equally into savings accounts for Francessca and Natalia. Thank you all for your love and support.
