Maria Otmax's funeral expenses

Dear friends, for those of you who didn't know, Maria Otmax passed away Saturday, May 12 after a long battle with cancer. She wanted to keep this issue private so not many people knew of her condition. Maria was one of the closest people I have ever had as a friend and was an individual unlike any other that I have known. She was a free spirit her entire life and a rebel until the end. I find it extremely hard to find the words necessary to express what a tremendous loss this is for her friends and family but you can imagine that this is a very hard time for all of us. I would like to ask any of you who have known Maria or are sympathetic to this cause to consider donating anything you can spare to help with funeral costs and other expenses that pop up in these situations. All donations will be given to her mother, who has just flown in from Russia to say goodbye to her beloved daughter one last time. I appreciate any help you can offer.

1.) My name is Alexander Knopf.

2.)I live in Pikesville, Maryland.

3.)I have known Maria since the Fall of 2007. She was one of my best friends (more like family).

4.) The funds donated will be used to cover the expenses from the Sol and Levinson funeral home where Maria is currently being kept. The bill for her funeral procedures is around $7,000. Her legal name is Marija Freeman. But to those that know her she is Masha Otmahova (Otmax).

5.) All of the money donated will be withdrawn by me and I will hand it via check to Maria's mother, Tatiana Otmahova. Her mother does not speak English and therefore me and Maria's friends are taking care of all the technical aspects of this ordeal.
