My name is Maria I am 24 years old. Single mother to a 4yr old. In Nov 2016 I was dx with kidney failure. Was told my kidneys were only working 20%, needed to start dialysis as soon as possible, unfortunately insuranced denied me. I have been paying my medications. Some months i will not take them due to financial problems, since i had to stop working due to my illness getting worst. On Monday May 9th 2017 I was admitted to hospital an went under surgery to place a vascular dialysis catheter. Started my first dialysis, and also found out I have Lupus.
