March Against Funeral Poverty

I will be walking from Harrogate to London campaigning against funeral poverty, leaving Harrogate on 28 May 2018 and arriving in Westminster on 11 June 2018. Upon my arrival in Westminster I will have an arranged meeting with Kit Malthouse MP to enable me to put my constructive arguments forward in the hope that the government will do more to assist families in need who have suffered bereavement.

My goal is to raise £10,000 to benefit Dementia UK. I see increasing numbers of families who have lost love ones who have suffered terribly with dementia. Anything I can do to provide additional nursing staff to relieve the pressure from caring families, even for short periods, will make the journey worthwhile.
