My Education Fundraiser

What could be more important than investing in the future of our Youth?? Welcome to the future.  My name is Mara'ah Lee.  17 year old High School Graduate, Class of 2017.  WITH HONORS!!! 3.6 GPA

Our Family is raising money for what will be the first chapter in this young Lady's bright adult future.  Mara'ah has decided to continue her second level education by studying Computer Programming, Web Development and Coding.  Galvanize is a technology school in the Warehouse District of Downtown Phoenix that offers a 6-Month Boot Camp, immersive instruction and job placement assistance.  www.galvanize.com/phoenix 
They are one of the front-runners in what is the new 'trade school' of the future, that is technology and innovation.

According to Glassdoor, a Junior Web Developer will average a salary of $59K per year in Phoenix, AZ. With the National average being significantly higher at $75K. https://www.glassdoor.com/ Salaries/phoenix-junior-web- developer-salary-SRCH_IL.0,7_ IM678_KO8,28.htm   
Experienced developers will easily earn in the range of $50 - $100 per hour.  This is by no means insignificant in comparison to the low cost and barrier of entry into this field. Coding and Web Development is a field with no limits, rapidly/ever changing technologies contributing and birthing new developments everyday.  From autonomous vehicles, blockchain security technology, Smart Cities, and these few things are not even scratching the surface of what is to come.

The tuition to attend Galvanize, Phoenix, AZ is $21,000.  There is a $1500 dollar deposit if financing is received.  There is also a requirement to have a MacBook laptop for coding and programming purposes.  We are looking to raise $28,500.00 to to cover 6 months worth of tuition, transportation and food expenses.  This amount is nominal and very economical in comparison to the average 4-year degree costing $50K and above, with no guarantee of job placement or financial assistance after schooling.
