Mara's Fund

This is Mara. She is 4 years old. She was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and will soon undergo surgery to have it removed. She is in the PICU at the University of Iowa Children's Hospital in Iowa City. 

Mara is the daughter of Lyle and Brandi Nevins, they live in Adel. Her brother, Trevor, is an ADM alumni, and her sister, Cora, is a senior at ADM. Mara's 2 year old sister, Brinley, completes the family.

We want to raise some money to offset the expenses the family will incur as they travel back and fourth for Mara's treatment and a long recovery period. It would be great to be able to make it so they don't have to worry about money for gas, food, hotels, babysitters, and insurance deductibles.

We can't take away the stress and worry they must feel at this scary time, but if you can make a donation, maybe we can make it so they don't have to worry about anything else except for getting their precious daughter and sister well again.
