Manoucheka's Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On Friday May 10th, a very rainy evening, our dear friend and coworker Manoucheka Silverain passed away tragically and unexpectedly in a car crash. It was a one vehicle car crash attributed to the poor road conditions and weather. Her 10-year old daughter, Asiah, was in the car at the time but thankfully survived with minor injuries.
Manoucheka was a bright light to all those who knew her. Her kind personality and positive attitude brightened those around her in a profound way. Working in the family medicine clinic, she set an example in work ethic, professionalism and most of all compassion to the entire staff. Her patients were daily recipients of not only the highest level of care but also her ubiquitous warming smile that always lit up the room.
In her absence, we are faced with incredible loss but also a compelling desire to honor her legacy. In her honor, we would like to start a memorial fund to support any financial needs the family has as they arrange her services and grieve, and also to raise money that can be used as an ongoing resource for Manoucheka's daughter Asiah as she navigates the new reality of a life without her amazing mother.
We would be humbled to have you join hand in hand with us to honor Manoucheka's legacy; if you feel led to give, please know you have our deepest gratitude. The funds will be disbursed to Manoucheka's parents who will now be caring for her daughter.
