My London University Tuition Fund

I've been writing stories since I was ten years old. I always used my skill as a way for me to escape real life by writing a world or worlds that were more exciting, more loving, more everything. In this way, writing has always been a sort of therapy for me. It kept me sane when I felt as if I were unraveling due to the pressures, the anguish, and the trauma of my real life.

It wasn't until I was eighteen that I discovered other people appreciated my writing as well. I found that they wanted to know what happened next, that there was an impressive demand to know how that scene turned out and affected the rest of the overall story. I took this demand and wrote to my heart's content, finding joy in what I had determined to be my 'gift.'

I'm twenty-six now. When I was twenty-four, I allowed myself to realize that I would never be truly happy doing anything else other than my writing. I had tried pre-nursing, tried phlebotomy, and none of it made me happy. Sure, there was money to be had there, but what is money without happiness? For the first time, I allowed myself to look at a career using my gift for words.

In this, I found my true dream, the dream that many people never find in their lives. Sure, you can find what you're good at, but do you ever really find what you're meant to do, what you were put on this earth to do? Writing is my gift to myself and to the world, and I intend to take it to the highest reaches.

I applied to five different universities in London, England. I was accepted into three. The first university, Kingston, accepted me within a week of submitting my application. This is rare. Those UK universities usually take 4-6 weeks, but Kingston wanted me after a week. I accepted their offer. It's in south west London, right on the Thames River. This is such an amazing opportunity for me.

The tuition costs for London are oddly cheaper than a lot of US universities, which is a bit sad when you look at it. Nonetheless, I need help to achieve my dream. That's where you come in. Please help me by assisting me to live my true dream, live my destiny.
