Man Vs. Dumpster
Donation protected
One dark evening this past September, I was riding my bicycle down Bull Mountain when I crashed into an industrial dumpster trying to avoid an oncoming car. When I woke up days later I was informed what happened and how lucky I was to even be alive with the internal bleeding, broken ribs and collapsed lung.
Even more terrifying though was that my right arm wasn’t functional. I couldn't even move my fingers...everyone on staff tried to be positive and tell me it might come back so I waited and waited...
Three months have passed and I’m experiencing intense, ongoing pain and discomfort with still zero mobility in my arm. The dead weight is also causing it to literally fall out of its socket.
Fortunately, God has blessed me with positive people telling me to hold onto hope! The doctors however are telling me my outlook for surgery doesn’t look good and they like to express, “You seem to be in pain.” I’ve had one doctor tell me to increase oxycotton
medication, another to get off it and in general I’m feeling lost. I even had my ortho recommend an orthopedic surgery to have my arm removed!!! Fortunately we aren’t there... Yet.
A friend reached out who performs neural therapy and I have been researching it. I truly feel this is my best chance at regaining use of my arm and ending the constant pain. The plan is to work with regenorative injection therapies to help wake up the nerves and restore muscle while healing scar tissue from surgeries. There will also be some delicate dedication towards helping me through some brain trauma. Mental and emotional hardships that have come about since the accident will also be in place. I am seeing counselors for this as well.
My biggest expenses will be the naturopath and unfortunately treatments are not covered by my insurance. Also because I can't work, I'm turning to you my friends, family and fellow Christians. In humility I'm stepping out and asking for help. If there is any way you can donate anything to help me receive treatment and have a fighting chance at recovery I'd be incredibly blessed and grateful for you.
God has declared that my arm and other injuries will be restored! Prayers for this healing would also be a huge blessing. We want to move the hand of God and give Him the glory for this miracle. Thank you and God bless!
