Husband helps people all his life, now needs help

My name is Chris Lancelotti.  My family and I are in desperate need of financial help. I am reaching out as a very last resort.   I have served others all my life in the Emergency Medical field working in one of the busiest and most dynamic 911 systems in the nation.  I have
worked on CCT-P, CCT-RN, NICU, PICU and of course Paramedic 911 units.  I have saved and touched  the lives of so many people (men, women and children) without a second thought.  It is time to care of my family.  I have battled cancer multilple times and endured multiple residual complications over the past 10 years.   My family and I are so happy to have conquered cancer until I sustained a devastating injury that included trauma to my head and back.  My head trauma led to my most recent surgeries for Ventriculoperitoneal Shunt, a method of diverting cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from the ventricles of the brain to the abdominal cavity. To alleviate high intercranial pressures, which can lead to brain herniation, vision loss, hearing loss, stroke, aneurysms, and even death.  I sustained a very bad back injury in 2015 on the job which makes me 37% disabled and can not work in the field anymore.  I am a devoted husband and dedicated father and I would do anything to provide for my family. I have been enduring intense headaches, loss of hearing, unsteady gait and vision problems which lead to the recommendation of my most recent surgeries, VP shunting.  Unfortunately the past two complex brain surgeries have been unsuccessful.  I now have an infection and I am currently in the hospital awaiting yet another complex brain and abdominal surgery scheduled for 12/14/18, thus making a much longer road to recovery.  My family and our local church have helped us out as much as they can financially, but it’s just not enough. If you can find it in your heart to help us we are trying to raise enough money for my medical bills, rent/mortgage, utilities, and groceries for 3 months. My doctor's anticipate an additional surgery to shunt the CSF fluid to the atria or plueral space of my lungs.  I will be unable to work for these upcoming months and will most likely be in and out of the hospital.  We are praying I will be home by Christmas.  I have already missed Halloween and Thanksgiving due to my recent extensive hospital stays. Thank you so much for reading through my story and hope to keep you updated. Live, Love, Laugh!  And God Bless.
