My son, Malachi is hoping, with your help to attend a trimester in New Zealand as a foreign exchange student. He is an awesome straight A student who loves to play soccer, keyboard, synth, and guitar. I’m going to New Zealand!
This is something I’m super excited about, but I can’t do it without your help. I’m currently reaching the end of my sophomore year in high school, and so far, high school has been fantastic. This year I was able to take five AP courses and I’ve attained nearly all of my high school credits necessary to graduate. With this in mind, me and my parents began exploring options for my junior year, and we came across an amazing opportunity for me to study abroad in New Zealand. Well, you ask, why New Zealand? This idea initially sprang out of my desire to travel and experience the oceanic region of the world. For as long as I can remember I’ve felt a tugging on my heart to go to, or even live in this region some day, and me and my family just happened to stumble on a way to make possible this cultivating dream of mine, but I need your help to make it a reality. I’ll be taking a fall school term, which will last thirteen weeks. While I’m there I’ll be able to learn Maori, (the native language of New Zealand), and more about the island nation, including things such as their history and ecosystem, and culture. The trip in total will cost approximately $15,000 and due May 13th. I ask that you would consider financially supporting me, and in doing so you’re not just helping me in my scholiastic endeavors, you’re investing into my future.
