Malachi to the National Spelling Bee

$880 of $4,000 goal

Raised by 38 people in 2 months
Malachi Harrison is the winner of the Midway Elementary School Spelling Bee for 2018-2019. Malachi is a strong athlete, an academic scholar, and an amazing speller. This year Malachi would like to participate in the National Spelling Bee in Oxford Maryland and we want to support him in his dream to compete.

Normally, Anderson County would host a county Spelling Bee. Due to a shortage of schools participating in individual spelling Bees there are no sponsors available to help Malachi get to the Spelling Bee. This is where we need your help. The invitation fee for Malachi to participate in the Spelling Bee is $1,500. Our goal is to raise $4,000 to cover travel and lodging as well.

Every little bit helps and we are excited and anxious to help him on his journey. We appreciate all of you for your support.
