Making the Journey Count

Hello, my name is Delois Boyd. I am a teacher at Quitman County Middle School in Marks, Mississippi. Our principal Mr. Cortez Moss believes education is freedom. We are embarking on an end of the year journey for our departing eighth grade class. We hope to inspire them to pursue their hopes and dreams. This trip will take them on a tour of the campus of Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana. They will be exploring some other beneficial sites as well. Students need as many cultural expeditions as possible as they enter into a new phase of their education. We often discuss expanding students minds; but often the expansion is limited because of expense. This is a great opportunity for our students. Please help us make this trip a wonderful experience by donating as you feel lead. The trip is planned for May 21 and 22, 2018. We will be deeply grateful for your support.
