MakerGirl Full-Timer!

What bothers you?
This was the question I was posed with in my social entrepreneurship class senior year. Due to the lack of inspiration that I felt from my women peers, and the lack of women in c-suite positions, I wanted to create a way for girls to harness their creative and analytical potential for good. This led to MakerGirl, a social venture that inspires 7-10 year old girls to pursue STEAM fields.
Through a cross-country road trip and ~100 sessions at the University of Illinois, we have inspired over 1.5K 7-10 year old girls.
Now, we are funding our first full time employee to expand MakerGirl to new academies at universities across the country and limit the challenges that come with university student turnover (our employees).
Your help is greatly appreciated! Please contact me with any questions!
