Funeral Expenses for Missy Porras!

My Aunt Missy has always been a tough woman, but the pain from her Stage 4 ovarian cancer is becoming unbearable and her doctors have run out of options.  They have told her that there is nothing more that they can do, so she will be released from the hospital in the upcoming days and will then wait for the end with her ten year old daughter, Mia, and her five year old son, Nathan.  Their dad is not in the picture and she lost her home, so Missy, Mia and Nathan will come to stay with me in my one bedroom basement apartment for the time that she has left.  

Although I am only 27, single and have no kids, I am doing all that I can to help.  I am currently taking care of Mia and Nathan and intend on taking on the full responsibility as their guardian once their Mom is gone.  I’m determined to stay strong for my niece and nephew and will continue to do all I can so that Aunt Missy can spend as much time with Mia and Nathan as possible before it’s too late.  

Aunt Missy will require around the clock care once she leaves the hospital and there will be other costs for taking care of Mia and Nathan.  Although I work full time, I don’t make enough to pay for the care that she needs and to take care of my niece and nephew.  So I am asking for any help that you can give.  Any money received will go to pay for the care Missy needs, taking care of Mia and Nathan and, hopefully, getting them into a bigger place so that Aunt Missy can be more comfortable during the time that she has left.  Also, Aunt Missy worries that there won’t be enough money to pay for her funeral, so I am trying to save for that, as well.
