Make Kiara's Wish Come True

Dear Community,


I am writing to request your assistance for  someone very special. My former student and soon to be 7th grader at Carmel Middle School, Kiara Hinze, has been suffering from a very rare brain tumor.    It was discovered last winter, and she has been battling hard from the get go. Although Kiara has had to travel weekly for treatment, has missed school, and has endured exhaustion and discomfort, she has shown incredible grace and maintained a very sunny disposition which comforts all who know her.   


As is expected in any case like this, the Hinze family has been stretched thin, both emotionally and financially.  It is our hope to do something special for the family that could brighten this difficult time. This summer, Kiara’s mom Brenda, would love to take her daughter on a special vacation.  Kiara has always dreamed of flying to Italy with her mom, but she would be happy with any trip or activity we could raise money to afford. This could truly brighten a rather challenging time.


Please consider donating to making Kiara’s wish come true .  No child should have to deal with cancer, but we can do our best to improve her situation and give her something to look forward to.
