Makayla Needs Surgery Urgently

UPDATE:
Makayla Had Surgery on Tuesday 7/18/2017 and unfortunately had some sort of reaction - to anasteahia maybe?  She needed to be admitted to VSEC for overnight observation and supportive care.  She seems to be doing okay but our expenses to save this sweet girl went up.  Please help us cover the additional expenses if you can.  She seems to be getting better and we are expecting her to recover at The Pet Mechanic  the rest of the way.  Thankfully we have hope for our little princess who loves everyone she meets.

Makayla needs your help.  You probably already know that homeless pets find enough obstacles when it come to finding a family.  Poor Makayla came to us from an overcrowded shelter where her chances were not good.  Even though she is only 1 year old, cute, loves people and other dogs she faced lots of competetion for the few families that come in to look to adopt.  And so we stepped in to rescue her and bring her to our no-kill shelter and adoption program.  During her exam our veterinarian discovered a suspicious lump in one of her mammary glands.  We promised this pup we would find her a home and we must do whatever it takes.  The lump must be removed and the surgeon recommendds removing the mammary tissue.  We are hoping it turns out to be nothing but if we do not do this she will face even longer odds while looking for her forever home.  Please donate whateever you can and share this with your friends and family for Makayla.  The sooner we can get an answer the better her chances are of having her dreams come true.   Saved Me is a non-profit and certified charity and we promise that all of the funds raised will go directly towards Makayla's medical needs.  We will be so grateful when she goes home and you will be the ones we thank.
