Bring Mom to Maine

$1,960 of $2,000 goal

Raised by 16 people in 47 months
We, Suzette Franck, Paul Jr. Franck, Michelle Franck, and Charles Franck, decided that as a tribute to my mom, we would raise funds for all four of us children to take a week long trip to meet our mother’s side of the family from Maine and Connecticut, and bring her ashes there as her final resting place alongside our grandparents. Our plan is to go there in the fall of 2015 when the autumn leaves are changing colors, as that was her favorite time of year. We deeply appreciate all of your support!

We have an update!

Franck family and Friends: My mom's final interment and burial will be on June 24th at 10 a.m. at the following address:

Michaud Funeral Home

St. Agatha , Maine 04772

Everyone is welcome to attend, and flowers are greatly appreciated. I will be representing the family with my uncle Paul, Bernadette's brother. It will just be a short, beautiful interment ceremony with prayer and a father from local church will be there for the blessing.

Thank you,

Our Mother passed away unexpectedly on 12/18/14 from complications of COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). My 3 siblings and I are raising money so we can lay her to rest in her hometown in Northern Maine this Fall. We are handling our Mother's estate and everything is in probate; the finances are tough on all us. Every donation helps us toward our goal of bringing our dear Mother to her final resting place. It would bring my immediate and extended family great peace to lay her to rest in the place that she loved all her life. Thank you so much for your continued love and support as we cope with the heart-breaking loss of our beloved mother, Bernadette "Bernie" Franck. My siblings are Suzette Franck, Charlie Franck, and Paul Franck from Simi Valley. Thank you on behalf of all of us. God Bless.

The Slack and Little family wishes everyone the best and we hope you can all make the trip. It sounds like an amazing adventure. I remember your Mother going on a trip to Maine once. She brought back these weird molasses treats, i ate them but don't remember what they taste like. Love you guys!!
