About the artists -

Maris O’Tierney and Bryce O’Tierney compose and perform music and lyric poetry as duo maeve & quinn (voices, guitar, violin, piano, percussion), drawing from their musical and personal experiences. Growing up in Alaska,  their music draws from that expansive landscape. Improvisation, traditional Irish music, and storytelling from their maternal lineage have equally shaped the voices and performances of maeve & quinn. The twin sisters' collaboration has grown and evolved over a lifetime.

This special live session brings them back to Surreal, where they recorded their brand new new album, "something overheard, something overhead".

Live at Surreal is an in-studio live performance series where the audience participates in the recording of a live album by an Alaskan artist. In addition to attending the show, you'll receive a personal link to download the live album for free when it's mastered and released. It's a pretty cool thing. When you purchase a seat through Go Fund Me, you'll receive more information about the show.

Donate $25 to the Go Fund Me to be put on the attendance list. Seating in the studio is limited. When we reach our goal of $750, no more seats will be available. Your name will be on the guest list for the night of the performance. Just show up and enjoy the show. No tickets are available at the door - they must be purchased through Go Fund Me.
