Summit Diner waitress, Mae broke her leg and needs help
For frequent visitors of the Summit Diner, Mae is the friendly waitress face who greets and serves you. She has a beautiful smile and lights up the Diner with her happy demeanor.
Unfortunately, she recently slipped in front of her home and seriously fractured her leg. The fracture required seriously painful surgery resulting in numerous pins being drilled into her leg. Mae cannot walk or work and will require months of physical therapy. To make matters worse, while visiting the hospital for a checkup, she slipped again and broke one of her toes. Bottom line, if Mae didn’t have bad luck, she would have no luck at all!
Mae is a hardworking determined young lady who is putting herself through County College of Morris by waitressing and cleaning houses. Obviously, all of that is now on hold until she gets better.
As many of you know, the Summit Diner is world headquarters for the tiny Other Fellow First Foundation. We exist to help New Jersey folks in distress. Given our mission, it is hard to imagine a more deserving candidate for our help.
