Madison's Moment- A Youth Choir Singer's Dream

My sister has been given an opportunity other children can only wish! She is apart of a nationally recognized youth choir that placed second in one of the top watched talent reality shows. She is now traveling and participating in other events that have been presented from that opportunity. This has caused financial hardship for my mom whose money is beyond limited as a single mother. She cares for my needs while here in my third year of college, her immediate finances have been compromised, yet she is still moves forward to come up with monies needed for my sister in spite of her lack. It hurts hearing the tone in my mom's voice saying "all is well" when to know her is to know this is untrue. My sister leaves for Las Vegas in less than a week as part of an opening act for the winner of the reality show. Then will turn around and travel yet again to LA. She is in need of travel money for food, emergency money, personal hygiene items, she does not have weather appropriate gear. She is not able to get her appearance together as a young teenage lady which is important (i.e, hair braided, nails, eyebrows).  My mom is still recovering from my sister's trip to LA where she was there 30 days. Outside of travel and lodging, parents have to absorb all costs. My mom is prideful and I  get it but my sister needs help so pride needs to be set aside.  If anyone can find it to help my sister continue on in her music journey where her resume is being built  off these experiences, I  say thank you on behalf of my kid sister Madison whom I  know one day will be a COMPLETE HOUSEHOLD NAME WITH HER EXCEPTIONAL VOICE!  Check out a snippet of her voice below by clicking the link.
