Woman Veteran Small Business Fund

I'm a one person home-based business in Daphne, AL. that hand crafts 100% Natural Skin Care products out of my home. This is a project dear to my heart after having served 12 years in the Air Force as an Electrician and 14 years with Verizon as a technician. I took an early retirement to homeschool one of my twin boys and after he returned to public school it was time to follow my dream and I started making small batch natural products. Up to this point I've been selling at shows and small local stores, along with my website,  but I received a phone call this past week from As Seen On TV saying they had received my name from someone that had purchased my Whipped Shea Butter at a show in Florida and thought I'd be a great fit for their Direct Marketing TV Campaign. I'm flattered that someone was kind enough to put in a wonderful word for me but the expense is out of my range as a small business but an opportunity I believe would be great to help grow my buisness by offering natural products to others. I put my all into my business and believe my products are the purest they can be and a direct representation of myself.  I believe we're finally at a turning point where people are becoming more aware of the dangers of many of the chemicals put out there in the large manufacturing companies and are looking for more natural products for their familes, something safe and effective for their children. I'm more then thankful to be able to do something I love for a living, to provide people with a product they can use knowing it's safe and I would love the opportunity to grow with the generosity of others.
