As a designer one of the final projects linked to your success as a student is your final thesis. A thesis for a student such as myself isn't a paper but a full blown collection of ready-to-wear clothing. This means that I need to first draw the clothing, buy or make the material and then put it all together. This process costs, and it costs a lot for a student. My thesis is based on dancehall culture in the Caribbean; it is colorful and daring. And I can't wait for you all to be able to indulge in it. I have already drawn and presented my work to my professors and it has received much praise. However, in order to actually accomplish this task (and graduate) I need to buy all the material. As you can see from the video I posted, I work with a lot prints, and these tend to be very expense because I will be making them myself.
I truly hope that I am able to inspire you by my art and inspire up and coming artists to reach for the stars.
I look forward to your contributions.
Help me tell my story, OUR story.
