DANCE ETC. School of the Arts has been invited to dance in the MACY’S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE!!
Dance Etc. School of the Arts, was established in 1981 to provide Woodbridge and the surrounding area with quality and professional instruction in the arts for students of all ages.
Fifteen of our selected students from Dance Etc. have been invited to perform in the 91st Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade® in New York City in November!! All proceeds from our fundraising efforts will help our students offset the enormous costs associated with participating in this event.
To participate in this event, the dancers are required to stay six (6) nights at a centrally located New York Hilton Midtown assigned by the production company. They will be performing a professionally-choreographed routine with other high schools and dancers from across the country.
Your donations will go towards paying for the following costs:
$2500 per dancer for the cost of the PERFORMER package (including hotel costs, New York City Subway Metro Pass, four (4) coupon breakfasts, five (5) coupon lunches, five (5) coupon dinners, Parade costume/uniform, Parade costume/uniform tights,etc.)
$200 per dancer for transportation (since it is not included in the price to perform)
TOTAL COST= $40,500 for 15 dancers to perform in the parade
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is everything a dancer dreams of!! Please help our beautiful and talented dancers to create special memories and be part of an All-American tradition. With your help, our dancers can attain their goal to get there!!
