Ma'Bea's Fur Baby Rhett's Vet Bills
This is Rhett's Belly.
Meet Rhett my Momma's fur baby. Monday morning, my Daddy let him and their other little dog out to use the potty. As Rhett when to walk onto the driveway from the patio a big dog mauled him. The big dog threw him around like a rag doll. The vet said that Rhett's case is the worst he has seen that the animal survived as long as he did before surgery. The vet explained that Rhett's intestines ruptured and was leaking into his lungs.
The vet spent over 4 1/2 hours doing surgery to save Rhett's life, he then stayed with Rhett until around 3:30. This morning when we called to check on him, he was alert, wagging his tail, drank some water, and everyone is amazed.
Rhett came home Tuesday night, he has to have round the clock care and has to stay relaxed. The vet said that the dogs teeth came centimeters from his spine and pulled all the muscles away from his back, he has multiple tunes and several broken ribs. We are praying he will have mobility in his hind section, he is able to wag his tail and is trying to stand up so we have hope.
Any amount will help out greatly.
Thank you all, God Bless.
Ma'Bea is doing well, he biopsies came back as a bad infection so she is on steroids and repeating the PET scan sometime this month.
This gofundme fundraiser is/will be helping pay Rhett's Vet Bills.
Please help if you can.
This post is about Ma' Bea.
Yesterday the big "C" was mentioned in regards to my Momma due to very suspicious spot son her lung and bronchial tube. She will be having a biopsy on the 2 on her bronchial tube Friday or Monday, results will be later next week. We know that THROUGH JESUS ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! So, we are going to pray she is in the 10% of the people who have a major infection that looks like "C".
Please also pray for my Daddy as she is the love of his life.
Please remember my Momma, Ma' Bea, in your prayers. She had a PET scan done that showed what appears to be cancer on her lung and bronchial tube, as well as another very suspicious spot on her bronchial tube. She will be having a biopsy on Friday or Monday. They should get more information next week. Please add her to your prayers and prayer lists, if possible. Her name is Bea McNeil. She has had a lot of health problems in the last few years, but we are all firm believers in the power of prayer.
Dr. Ashley said he's doing much better. He still hasn't healed enough to get the stitches out, so I have to take him back next week to be rechecked and hopefully get them taken out.
Rhett wasn't able to come today. They still have him on an antibiotic drip and they're having to force feed him. His white blood cell count was still elevated this afternoon. Dr. Ashley said he can't come home until the white blood cells come down and he eats on his own.
What vet is treating him?
I would like to say a very heartfelt thank you to each and every person who has prayed for Rhett and I. I would also like to thank my daughter, Breionne for setting up this fund, and a huge thank you to all who have donated for Rhett's bills. You will never know how much my husband and I appreciate your generosity. I pray that God blesses each and every one of you. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart.
