On February 8, 2016, my best friends daughter, Samantha Stewart, was diagnosed with Pre B Acute Lymphblastic Leukemia. Ten days after her diagnosis, she was also diagnosed with "treatment induced diabetes" and is now insulin dependent. She is a bright, vibrant and caring 14 year old from Yorba Linda. Sami loves being with her friends, her school, her puppy Butters and being little sister to two old sisters, Lauren and Kaci. She also loves to play volleyball and has every intention of tying out for her high school team in the fall.
Samantha is being treated at Children's Hospital of Los Angel
es and is at home for the time being. As you can imagine, the financial toll that having a loved one with cancer or any serious illness is enormous.
Please consider helping the family out while they help their daughter fight and beat this! The road ahead will be long and arduous no doubt, but with our help we can provide some relief.
