CSUN's Student Design Competition
Donation protected
This past March, CSUN's student chapter of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) attended ASME National's engineering festival, known as E-Fest West. CSUN's team competed in the Student Design Competition (SDC) where the main objective was for each team to design a robot(s) with certain constraints that could prevail in a 4-way soccer match.
After being first throughout all of the preliminary rounds, CSUN earned 2nd place overall out of 15 schools. With this accomplishment, CSUN was invited to attend the SDC Finals at the International Mechanical Engineering Congress & Exposition (IMECE) held this November in Pittsburgh, PA.
With your help, we can further improve our robots and send our team to compete in Pittsburgh and bring another trophy home.
