Brennan's Competition in Cuba

My name is Brennan Hall, and I am from Orlando, FL. In 2013 I moved to New York to pursue  a career doing what I love most, singing; whether it be early music, new music, art-song, opera even broadway musicals.

I have spent the past 11 years pursuing my dream as a countertenor, honing my craft, and reaching for excellence. There have been some challenges along the way, but being a freelance artist in New York City has been a wonderful and life changing experience.

Now I am setting my gaze to look farther outward; not just in the United States but the world. In October of 2015, I will have the opportunity to participate in a Countertenor Contest “Les Voix Humaines ”, held in Havana, Cuba.

The competition is the first international voice competition for Cuba and will run from October 5 -7.

I am thrilled to announce that I have passed the preliminary auditions and will participate in the first round, which is held at the Hispano-American Cultural Center in Cuba.

I feel completely honored to be apart of this historic event, and I am very excited about this cultural learning experience.

However, in order for me to compete in "Les Voix Humaines" Countertenor Competition, I NEED YOUR HELP!

I need to raise $2,000 by Sept 26th to help cover the expenses to travel to Cuba, and I can’t do it by myself.
