Wyatt is a family friend of mine, my parents have known the Klute's ever since I can remember. Both of our families grew up around the sport of hockey, and through that, we grew up around one another. Recently I had started coaching a youth lacrosse team, an eigth grade team, a team which Wyatt may have played on had he not begun his battle with cancer. For sometime now I've been watching others support and help the Klute family through their journey, and for much of that time I had been wondering where I could contribute. Finally, I think I found where I fit. I have signed up to do Ironman Wisconsin, and I am honored to participate in Wyatt's name. Ironman is a triathlon, which consists of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike and a 26.2 mile run for a total of 140.6 miles. All of which is completed within a 17 hour time frame. I'm hoping that through my journey, I am able to raise money in an effort to aid Wyatt and his family with medical bills, as well as inspire others, the way Wyatt has inspired me. My goal is to raise $14,060, 100 dollars for every mile I cover on raceday. You may want to donate a dime for every mile I cover, or whatever your heart desires. All proceeds will go directly to the Klute family. Today this amount seems enourmous, but in the words of my Father, "You can fail at what you don't want, why not go for a lofty goal?"
Please help Wyatt kick cancer, pledge what you can, we appreciate every penny.
While I swim, bike, and run Ironman, Wyatt will punch, fight and kick cancer.

5 days, 18 hours and 30 minutes until the cannon fires over Monona terrace and 3,000 athletes start swimming at the Madison Ironman. 3,000 people, 3,000 stories and 3,000 reasons for embarking on this journey. By now, most of you are familiar with mine. I'm doing Ironman to raise money for my friend Wyatt and his family. A 2.4 mile swim, 112 miles on the bike, then a marathon. Sunday is race day, but the grind started months ago. I registered for this race over a year ago, and all of the training is culminating into this weekend. With just a few days left, I'm still accepting donations on my GoFundMe page. If you have the time, take a minute and read more about my past year while working towards Ironman. Also, please consider donating if you're able, I'd be honored to have you join my journey.

In the words of 80's hair band "Europe", It's the final countdown. With exactly one month until Ironman, peak week is finally upon us, training continues, and the nerves build. I'm hoping to cross the finish line around this time next month, and while most of my training has been done alone, I still need your help raising money to help my friend Wyatt Klute who was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma back in December of 2013. If you have the time and the means please visit my GoFundMe page and consider donating. Anything is appreciated, Thank you in advance.

What a weekend. Finally back home after an awesome weekend over in Wisconsin. After being off of crutches for 4 weeks, and back running for just 2, I completed the Door County Half Iron Triathlon. Covering 70.6 miles in just under 6 hours. As fun as this race was it was just another step in my journey towards Ironman in order to raise money for my friend Wyatt Klute, who was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma over a year ago. Please join me on this journey and consider donating to my Go Fund Me page! Thank you!

Today was a big day, today I went for a run. Although it was only a couple miles, I felt like I had finished a marathon after with the amount of excitement I had. For those of you who don’t know, with less than 3 months until Ironman I was diagnosed with a severe stress fracture in my lower right leg and was forced to take a one month hiatus from running, I was also forced to drop out of Grandma’s Marathon due to this injury. As of today there are 79 days until I enter the Monona waters at Ironman Wisconsin. I am beyond excited to be able to continue my journey, but I need your help in continuing to raise money and support for my friend Wyatt Klute. Please visit my Go Fund Me page and consider donating http://www.gofundme.com/m0i080 . Anything is appreciated. Thank you in advance.
