GIVE to Pastor Curt's Medical Fund
During that time he has worked as a teacher in elementary, middle school and high school. While teaching he has also served as a principal, vice-principal, science department chair, liaison between the school and a professional staff of doctors with the goal of reaching children with learning difficulties. Seven years of Curt’s experience was working for a start-up International Baccalaureate School.
He attended Fuller Theological Seminary where he earned a Masters in Theology. He also attended National University where he worked on his Masters in Education degree and his Teaching Credential. His undergraduate experience includes a Bachelor’s in Geography from California State University of Fullerton.
Curt was given three months before he would be bound to a wheelchair and told he would die very soon after the three months. The reason for such a prognosis was the incurable disease Multiple Sclerosis. Curt progressed to the most advanced form of the disease, Primary Progressive. He was referred to another neurologist who gave him the same prognosis. After God had interviened and healed him which was a miracle God has also given him a heart to love those who are ill and need hope. His desire is to see God work to heal individuals and families through Curt as well as others.
He is currently the Headmaster of the Rock Christian Academy and also works as a Children’s Pastor where his duties include weekend services, sports camp, VBS, parenting classes, counseling and more.
Recently, Curt has had an MS Relapse which has put him in the hospital. There has been a new MS lesion that has been found in his brain stem. We are grateful to know that there is Grace in his recovery process. Doctors are speaking Life and Hope into his situation. His neurologist has been extremely thourough with testing and conversations. We are praying for breakthrough and complete healing sooner than later. We are also praying for this lesion to miraculously be gone.
With circumstances like these, there are so many people helping with meals, cleaning and groceries. So many of you have been asking, "How can we help?" People want to do SOMETHING for this really great person and his beautiful family. One thing is to keep the Wojtalewicz family in your deepest prayers. The other is to consider GIVING any sort of donation that will help with these medical expenses they are starting to build up as well as expenses ahead of them with possible rehab, etc. Anything from $1 and up is appreciated! One of the biggest times you can see the LORD at work is through COMMUNITY!
Anyone who knows Curt whether it is seeing him on just a Sunday morning, or in any other atmosphere knows that he shines a light so bright with a heart so big and shares a deep desire to love and impact for Jesus!
Thank you for your consideration
and may God Bless your efforts!
Feel free to share this campaign with anyone who would like to give!
Curt's Motto: I will live by Christ, not by word alone.
May you all have a blessed day!
It was a pleasant surprise to see Curt wheeling himself into the the class an able to share his journey and how God has healed him so much so far in his medical condition. It was awesome to hear how God was giving words to these children to deliver to Curt and him tearing up a bit. He is missed in Children's Ministry however, it is pretty awesome how he is still impacting for Jesus in his state.
Curt is in a place where he feels the Lord will continue to restore and heal his body. He has a great faith.
Please keep praying for him! Prayers do work! Feel free to share his testimony with your friends, family or even people you barely know!
God is at work and he is not gonna stop!
What we have decided is to leave this campaign open ended as some people feel God is pressing on their hearts to give. So again, this campaign is not closed. We will keep posting updates as you all are concerned and LOVE Curt and his family so much!
Last we update Curt had made it home from the rehab center and has physical therapy at home as well as vision therapy and speech therapy. This is not only so he can better himself but to also be able to function at home on his own.
So, here are a couple of pictures with him actually moving up the stairs at home! To us our pace is so much faster than his! However, he is doing it on his own and takes a lot of energy and time.
Please keep prating for Curt and his wellness!
Curt made it home last night and his family is so happy to be together again under one roof.
Therapy is a priority in his recovery and look who is already with a therapist this morning "walking" in his own living room! God is so good! This is by far determination and faith! Thank you Jesus for all you are doing in healing Curt. Thank you for his testimony being a light to so many! Thank you for his faith and determination in knowing you will take care of him. Thank you for taking care of his family and bringing them all close together including his mom and sisters. Thank you for showing those who may be struggling with their relationship with you that you do exist and you do great things and that you love us and will take care of us no matter what!
Its awesome to see Curt's story touching so many people!
His goal is to be at church transformation weekend which is this weekend!
May this light up your Saturday!
Curt - my verses this year have been Isaiah 41:10-13. I have the passage printed and on my desk at work. The same day you were able to lift your right arm, I was reminded of that verse when thinking of you. But - I had no idea at the time that you had been able to move your right arm! Verses 10 and 13 say this: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." That's 100% for you. Take heart, he's holding your hand!
In Jesus name we say, "Take up your bed and walk!" Pastor Curt. Much love!
