Meet Lynda, a loving wife of 21 years to Richard, a mother of two boisterous teens, Jarrod 19, Josh 17 and a public servent for over 25 years. Among many great things Lynda is a captivating, caring, beautiful and giving individual that also happens to be fighting breast cancer.
In speaking with Lynda, she is aware that so many of her family, friends and work colleagues want to offer support in any way they can, but Lynda being Lynda and having the generous heart that she has, would be immensely thankful if people would help by raising funds for Ward 4 C, the cancer ward that has been helping her and others during their cancer battles. Through your generosity, all monies raised will go directly towards the patients’ needs throughout their treatment.
A brief timeline of Lynda’s’ Cancer journey:
In August of 2013 Lynda felt a pea size lump on her breast which was later diagnosed as breast cancer. After 6 months of treatment Lynda went into remission only to discover after 10 months that the cancer had returned. Lynda is now onto her last round of chemotherapy treatment, and should it fail, will be given weeks to months to live.
Lynda continues to fight each and every day, and believe it or not, still continues to come into work at any chance she can get! There is so much love for this astounding woman and I hope we can make her proud by coming together to support Ward 4 C.
