The Street Outreach program of LifeWorks serves youth and young adults up to age 26 in the Austin area who are currently experiencing homelessness or newly housed through our Rapid Rehousing program.
Since 2015 Street Outreach has hosted a prom to give those we serve a night of fun that many of them have missed out on. We provide the dresses and suits, the hair and makeup, and everything else needed for them to have the full prom experience! This year our prom will take place on July 11th and the theme is "Full Moon Masquerade."
While much of prom is made possible by in-kind donations from the community, the needs are sometimes greater than what is procured. Whether it be a gap in the food buffet, a lack of a certain clothing size, or a finishing touch needed with the decorations, your donation can help meet these last minute needs to complete the prom experience for our emerging adults. So help fund someone's night to remember!
