Luz Ramirez chemotherapy

March 2 my mother awoke with excruciating pain that eventually took us to the ER. What we thought would be a pinched nerve or her cyatic nerve, turned into something much worse and life threatening.
Doctors immediately started running every test possible to uncover what was causing my mother so much pain. MRI AND CT SCANS revealed nothing, pain control was the only thing the hospital could do. Just when she was getting ready to be discharged one doctor decided to do one last test to conclud his finding from the blood test ran the first day my mother was admitted. She underwent a bone marrow aspiration and biopsy procedure.
After 72 hours the test came in and the diagnosis was Leukemia. The severity of it was enough that without treatment another month and this cancer could have taken my mothers life.
Luz Maria Ramirez is a loving wife, mother and grandmother who serves God. She has been in her churches Danza & Alabanza group for 4 years, praying God every chance she gets. Since March 2 she has not been able to leave the hospital and has since started a very aggressive chemotherapy treatment.
We have tremendous support from so many wonderful people. They have come and helped us through these tough times. The road to recover will be a long one but we have the faith that God will heal my mother. We ask that you can contribute what you can to help us with my mothers road to recovery. We understand life happens and you you may not have the monetary means to help but please pray for my mom my father my entire family as we adjust to this disease and it's twists and turns.
