Lunch money for Turnbow Elementary

Hello everybody,
As some of you may know, I am a social work student at the University of Arkansas. As a student, I am required to complete two internships. My current internship is at Turnbow Elementary, in Springdale, where I work on projects with the counselor.
As I was going through the Springdale School District Student Handbook, I came across the school lunch charging system. According to the handbook, once a child is out of funds on their lunch account, they can charge on their account up to five times, but after the fifth time they get a sandwich and milk for lunch.
After being here for about four months, all I can think about is these amazing children and how to give back to them after all of the great days they have given me.
Now I ask of you, please help our students. The cost for reduced lunch is only $.40 which means that if you give one dollar, two students will benefit. The full price for lunch is $2.50 so if you give five dollars, two students will benefit. If you are unable to give, tell your friends, family, coworkers; really, anything will help.
I thank you and I know our Turnbow students would too if they had the opportunity.
