On Oct 27 2018 we lost a legend. Luis Gerardo Diaz-Cervantes’ life ended too soon and senselessly.

Luis was born Sept 12 1997 to Adelfino Diaz and Anna Cervantes in Salinas Ca. He had four siblings. Luis’ motto was “Family First”. No one in the world mattered more than his family.

Manny-My muthafuckin brother. We weren’t really close as kids but when we got older we started to kick it more. Everytime I needed something you got it for me and even if I didn’t need something u still got it for me.  U made my day everytime I talked to u because you were funny as fuck. I can’t see this world without Lulu he meant to much to many people but especially his family. All he ever wanted was for us to be as happy as possible no matter what. You might be gone but we gone keep your name alive.

Soci- I have so many stories with you but one thing that you told me just to always love your family  Who is my best friend he’s my twin man a lot to me he always tell me what I was doing wrong because he was older brother nice to get mad at you about that I’m in Broward Broward and you would come to the house can you take me out to eat and you pay for it things like that so you don’t have to do but he did I love you brother rest easy

Zayra-Crazy how you was just with me. Every time I seen you bruh I swear I was always so happy. You mean so much too me it’s crazy, I really can’t picture this world without you. I love you so much brother.

Adi-Luis my brother my best friend the person that always gave me advice to do things better I will always remember how much love you had for my kids how happy you were when I said I was naming my baby Luis I did that because of youI will truely miss you and you will always be in my ❤️ LongLiveLulu

Sononda-I was lucky and blessed to become a part of his family. He came to me in July of 2014 and my life has never been the same.  He kept me in the clouds. Everyday showed a new high. And everyday showed a new extreme. Nonda! Let’s go get some pizza! I should have known it would be in Berkeley. Nonda! Let’s go to the beach. But Luis. It’s 4p on a Sunday. It’s fine he’d say. Don’t think about it. Just do it. As everyone knows he was larger than life. I told him all the time life would not be as bright without him. Every single person he ever met he impacted greatly. I love him more than life and he will be greatly missed.

Alexis- the very first day I met Luis he grabbed me by the hand and asked if I wanted to be his girlfriend, we were twelve years old. To watch you grow into the amazing man you were today is something I’ll hold forever. All these years somehow we always found our ways back to one another the love and passion we had for one another was so strong and everyone seen it. 8 1/2 yrs later we are in our own spot and doing all the things we talked about at 14. I love you to the moon and back and will never forget your touch, smile and laugh. Your memory will live on Luis baby I love you so much
