Lucy and Nic's Farm Rebuild

On Thursday 11th of May 2018, Hobart was struck with intense weather of heavy rain and powerful winds. This led to floods and destruction throughout the community.
Lucy and Nic have been living harmoniously on a Farm that they built from scratch, in the town of Molesworth, in Southern Tasmania.
For years they have been diligently adding to their pride and joy, and creating safe and comfortable shelters for all of their animals on the property.
Lots of them are rescues, Lucy and Nic have always taken the time to foster animals in need to help rehabilitate them and re-home them.
The amount of love within Lucy and Nic's household that each pet has had the pleasure of knowing, cannot go unnoticed by anyone who knows them. It's truly commendable.
That is why we would love for our community to come together and help in any way, shape or form.
For the moment we are waiting for the flood waters to subside at the rear of their property, which has swallowed a mass of land and swept away all animal enclosures, sheds and everything else that was in the area.
We are aware of the dogs, cats and one sheep still being intact, the rest, have sadly been swept away.
We would love anyone to give whatever they can, to help rebuild their farm in the best way possible.
We are all working together for donations of plants, building materials, labour and efforts of anyone willing to help. Please keep your eye out for anything in the community in relation to this.
Lucy and Nic are genuine people, they have enriched the lives of all around them and will continue to do so, it's time to help them!
