LUCHEMOS JUNTO A NETO, NETO BATALLA CONTRA LA LEUCEMIA, NECESITA URGENTEMENTE TRASPLANTE DE MÉDULA ÓSEA
Ernesto Henríquez Urías, es un joven de 37 años que vive en El Salvador. Desde niño su vida la ha dedicado al servicio de Dios y siempre con la disposición de amar a su prójimo ante cualquier circunstancia.
Licenciado en Contaduría Pública, muy dedicado a su familia y a su trabajo. En el año de 2016 después del fallecimiento de su padre se convirtió en el pilar de su familia integrada por su Mamá y su Hermana.
Ernesto fue diagnosticado en abril 2018 con Leucemia Promielocita Aguda (LPA). Ingresó de emergencia en el Hospital de Oncología del ISSS de El Salvador y recibió de inmediato el tratamiento adecuado para este tipo de Leucemia, con Quimioterapia intravenosa y medicamento oral llamado ATRA. En agosto del 2018 entra en etapa de Mantenimiento con Quimioterapia vía oral.
En su chequeo programado para el mes de diciembre del año en curso, se determinó recaída con un nuevo tipo de Leucemia: Leucemia Mieloide Aguda (LMA) tipo M0 poniendo su vida en peligro. Comenzó un nuevo tratamiento en el mismo Hospital, con quimioterapia intravenosa con dosis más intensas. En esta oportunidad su médico hace la recomendación de realizar un Trasplante de Médula Ósea lo antes posible.
Este procedimiento no se realiza todavía en El Salvador por lo que recurrimos a un Hospital extranjero en Medellín, Colombia, lo que hace que dicho procedimiento sea altamente costoso con un estimado de $100,000 USD. Lastimosamente no contamos con los recursos económicos necesarios para cubrir la totalidad del monto y es por esto que buscamos su apoyo.
Ernesto lucha cada día contra esta enfermedad junto a su familia, manteniendo su fe firme en Dios y confiado que saldrá victorioso de esta batalla y con tu apoyo lo podemos lograr.

NETO IS BATTLING AGAINST LEUKEMIA, JOIN THE FIGHT! HE IS URGENTLY NEEDING A BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT
Ernesto Henriquez Urias, Neto, is a 37-year-old young man who lives in El Salvador.
Since his childhood, he has dedicated his life to the service of God, being the musical coordinator of his church’s choir and always supporting the different activities in his community.
He graduated as bachelor in Public Accounting. Since the passing of this father in 2016, he became responsible for his nuclear family, dedicating his life to his mother and sister.
In April 2018, Ernesto was diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia (APL) in the emergency room of the ISSS (Instituto Salvadoreño del Seguro Social) Oncology Hospital in El Salvador. He received the prescribed treatment for this type of Leukemia. It consisted of intravenous chemotherapy and an oral medication called ATRA, which functions as a follow-up treatment during the maintenance stage.
Unfortunately, during his scheduled check-up of December 2018, a new type of Leukemia was identified: Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Again, his life was in danger and was forced to start a new and more aggressive treatment for another type of cancer. He received intravenous chemotherapy with more intense doses every time. At this point, the doctor recommends a Bone Marrow Transplant as the only way to save his life.
This procedure is not yet done in El Salvador. The family had to look for alternatives abroad, finding the best alternative in a Hospital in Medellin, Colombia. However, this procedure is highly expensive with an estimated cost of $ 100,000 USD.
This GoFundMe campaign was created to help Neto, get the best possible treatment and safe his life with the help of friends, families and good-hearted people all around the world.
