NTX President Cup Champions (FC Dallas WTX Lugo 04G) Need Your Help Getting to Greenvile, South Carolina for the Southern Presidents Cup June 11-17, 2018. All funds donated with be used for hotel and travel fees for the team members (18 kids).

We entered our team to compete in the US Youth Soccer Presidents Cup 2018 series the weekend of March 9th-11th. We had to compete against other North Texas State soccer teams and the division winner moves on to the Southern Regionals Presidents Cup representing the North Texas State Soccer Association in Greenville, South Carolina. After a rigorous four game weekend we won our U-14 girls division with a 2-1 final in the championship game. We are ecstatic to complete the 1200 mile journey to Greenville,SC and showcase our teams' talents against some of the best teams in the southern region 3 division.
This journey has been 3-4 club years in the making for this team! Most of the players started their club career playing locally in the West Texas Premier League. As a natural progression of seeking higher quality of competition, travel teams transition to playing in one of the Dallas area leagues. Our team had to qualify last summer to compete this year in the highly competitive Lake Highlands Girls Classic League. We travel 6-8 weekends in both the fall and spring season to complete 1 club year. Currently after our first fall season of playing in classic league, we are in 2nd place out of 10 teams in our age division.
This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity for a team from Lubbock to represent the NTX soccer region at this event this summer. Your support and encouragement will have a lasting impact on these players for years to come as they transition into playing in high school and onto college soccer, while fulfilling their dreams of playing a sport we all love very much!
