Loving The Larkins

YOU ASKED, WE LISTENED!!!!

So many of you have sent texts, emails and FB messages asking how you can help this sweet family that we've all grown to love and we believe we have come up with the perfect way for us to show our love and support!!!

The cutest kid on the planet (uh-hem...that would be Dominic Larkin) has had a bit of a rough start to his 2016 year.  After having a terrible pool accident, being admitted to a Children's Pediatric ICU and being placed on ECMO, this sweet boy has managed to fight like a champ over the last several days.  This journey hasn't been easy on the little guy at all!!! God is beautifully orchestrating everything and there is an incredible medical staff taking great care of our sweet boy, but James and Melissa are facing a large emotional and financial compromise.  

This is is where we come in!!!! 

As as a family of five, life can easily be labeled as hectic and with these unexpected medical expenses, we want to help  alleviate as much worry as we possibly can.  Watching your sweet and precious baby fight so incredibly hard is draining and we want this sweet boy's mommy and daddy to be able to breathe a little easier! To put things in perspective, Dominic being on ECMO is costing $5000.00 a day just to have that machine in his room, that does not include the cost of using the machine, any of the medicines they are having to give or the cost of being in the PICU room daily! Yes, we asked how much the cost of the ECMO machine was and yes, our jaw hit the floor! Insurance does cover some of these things, but only a certain percentage of the total cost. 

We know know that all of you are praying without ceasing and it's evident that God is working miracles minute by minute for our handsome boy. We are asking that you please, please continue storming Heaven's gates with your relentless prayer and pleas! God hears our cries and He is working diligently to cover Dominic with complete and total healing. 

James and Melissa are beyond grateful for all of the support they are receiving and they know that all of these blessings come from above.  They are doing an amazing job at handling everything and they are continuing to stay focused. It is beyond apparent that God is working through both of them and that they have fully turned to Him for guidance and wisdom and understanding. 

Lets come together for for them and show them how much we love them and how thankful we are that they have a precious little fella that's trying sooooo very hard to give his all to get well!!  If Dominic, Melissa and James can give their all then so can we!!!

We have sat down with a team of medical professionals and with their guidance, we have come up with a set goal for funding.  We are asking that if you feel led, please contribute and help us offset these medical bills.  If we can help relieve some stress off of mommy and daddy, let's all pull together and do it!!! We would love nothing more than to see this goal exceed!!!!!

So, here we go friends and family- let's make this happen for the Larkins!!!!!
