#LoveIsGreen - Educational Signage

Our mission is to educate, celebrate and restore the natural area around the Susquehanna River, which gave birth to our great city.
1. Installing sustainable and durable signage detailing Leave No Trace principles in our riverfront parks
2. Holding Leave No Trace educational events for area youth
3. Holding cleanup events around the park to beautify the parks and promote cleanup principles
ALL funds requested in this gofundme will go directly to pay for the two educational park signs that will be placed in Kirby and Nesbitt parks. These signs will display information about the riverfront habitat, how trash and waste effects the local environment, and best practices for keeping these parks (and all natural areas) clean and thriving.
These signs will be made of high-quality, durable materials that will withstand weather and flooding.
We need the first half of payment, $2,500, by March 1st, 2017, with the additional funds due to the sign company by April 1st! Can you help us reach our goal?
